General Surgeon with special interest in Surgical Oncology, Hernia and Endoscopy.
Graduated initially with a Science degree before attending the University of Western Australia Medicine where upon graduation in 2009 he received the Gold Medal for the highest aggregate marks in Medical School.
Internship at Nambour Hospital in 2010 Before accepting a position on the Surgical Training Program commencing 2012.
Queensland General Surgical Training receiving Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2017
First General Surgical Fellow at the newly opened Sunshine Coast University Hospital in 2017
Further Subspecialty Training in- Breast and Endocrine Surgery (learning techniques in Oncoplastic Breast Cancer, Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery) at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital 2017 as well as further experience in Complex Ventral Hernia and Abdominal Wall Reconstruction in Brisbane. All Laparoscopic and Open Techniques.
Commenced Full Time Consultant General Surgical Practice at SCUH in 2018
Became the Medical Director of General Surgery in the Department of Surgery and Critical Care from 2021-2024.
